Criteria for Protecting Informants and Whistleblowers
  • Information reported by informants and whistleblowers is handled anonymously.
  • Access to report details and identities of informants and whistleblowers is highly restricted, among other stringent measures.
  • We take all necessary measures to protect informants and whistleblowers from any adverse consequences.
Criteria for Exemption from Liability and Duty for Whistleblowing
  • If company executives or employees have engaged in wrongdoing or actions that violate code of ethics but report or expose these actions,
    they may be exempted from penalties or disciplinary actions.
  • All company employees have the right to refuse to engage in any unethical actions that violate the code of ethics, even when instructed by their superiors or executives.
    In such cases, all employees will face no negative consequences for refusing the unethical demands of their superiors.
  • Company executives and all employees must report and seek advice from the Kumho Ethics Hotline
    if they are advised by their departments or fellow employees to engage in actions that may violate the code of ethics or if they encounter such actions.
